Our client was keen on replacing the ‘old, worn and not very secure doors’ and was looking into several options.

We organized a couple of site visits and then provided several technical drawings with options that would suit client’s needs. In the end, they’ve decided to opt for a bi-fold door for the kitchen and a set of French Doors for the living room.

They opted for no glazing bars in order to maximize the light that comes through the doors. We used 24mm double glazed units, made up of 6mm Toughened and 7mm laminated sound control glass, which achieve an acoustic rating of 40dB.

The installation lasted 2 days on both sets of doors and the client is now enjoying the lovely new doors. Video testimony to follow.

  The double glazed wooden sash windows of Original Sash /SOLLEX are excellent. We got them installed by a team of three. We are full a praise for both, the product and the team. The windows are perfect, more than expected. The comparison are double-glazed sash windows, which were fitted 10 years ago by another company on the other side of the house.
